Paintings are mixed media on wood; media includes oil, ink, and copper. All paintings are originals only, no prints or copies are made. The paintings, unlike the other work completed at "Moon Star Studio," are not collaborative, but the work of L.C. Kempe. Additionally, the artist designs and creates the frames from fine hardwoods, to best compliment the paintings. Nearly all paintings are inscribed with original poetry.
